Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of Level III/IV experience, including at least 1 year in a Level IV NICU, for a 13-week travel contract.
Details
- NICU setting within a children's hospital environment
- Level IV NICU unit caring for complex neonatal patients, including post-op, g-tube, and trach/vent cases
- Day and night shifts available, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Monday through Friday schedule with 2–3 required weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required — AHA-issued only
- Minimum 2 years of total NICU experience at Level III and/or Level IV combined
- At least 1 full year of Level IV NICU experience required
- Experience with post-op neonatal patients, g-tubes, and trach/vent management required
- Proficiency with various modes of invasive and non-invasive ventilation required
Additional Information
- Provide advanced neonatal nursing care including post-operative management, enteral feeding via g-tube, and tracheostomy/ventilator management
- Level III and Level IV NICU experience may be combined to meet the 2-year total requirement, provided at least 1 year is at the Level IV designation
