Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN Intermediate certification and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience, working night shifts in a fast-paced women's and infants unit.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting with 14 staffed beds
- Women's and infants L&D unit averaging approximately 150 births per month
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 17:45–06:15, on various days of the week
- Weekend work required per unit needs
- On-call required per unit needs
- Charting performed in Epic
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN Advanced alone is not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Experience with OB triage, managing laboring and high-risk OB patients, circulating in the OR, and placing internal monitors
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include managing laboring and high-risk OB patients, OB triage, circulating in the OR, and placing internal monitors
- Navy scrubs required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided experience requirements are met
- Up to 10 RTO days are allowed; RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, September 2–12, or October 25–November 4
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and eligible for a local pay rate
