Description
American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound/Echo Tech for a 13-week travel contract at a short-term acute care Level III trauma center that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System.
Details
- Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- Vascular Ultrasound and Echocardiography unit
- 5x8 hour day shifts with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM depending on departmental need
- Schedule includes every other weekend
- Floating within the department as needed per scheduling requirements
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Free parking on-site
Requirements
- ARDMS RDCS (AE) or CCI RCS certification required
- ICU experience required
- Must have experience starting IVs or be willing to train on IV placement
- Current BLS required
- License required if applicable
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
- Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved per contract
- Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster are required, with religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Teal scrubs required
