Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient and acute care experience for a 26-week contract position requiring a Virginia PT license and DPT or Master's degree.
Details
- Primarily outpatient setting with additional acute care coverage within the same facility
- Standard schedule is 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; 4x10 schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with one random day off) available by request
- Monthly weekend coverage required in the acute care setting
- Epic EMR used; prior experience preferred
- Contract length up to 26 weeks
Requirements
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required; does not need to be in hand at time of consideration — candidates may apply immediately upon offer
- DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required
- BLS certification required
- Outpatient clinic and acute care experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Position works across both outpatient and acute care settings, with the primary focus in outpatient
- May be required to work one holiday per 13-week contract period, on a rotating basis with staff
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are not accepted; a radius requirement applies
