Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Elizabethtown, KY, requiring a valid KY or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• 13-week travel contract with 36 hours per week
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital environment
• Position is located in Elizabethtown, KY

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license — KY state license or compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Date of birth (MM/DD) and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Previous nursing experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and direct patient care activities including admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Delivers patient and family-centered education and coordinates individualized treatment planning
• Delegates tasks to and monitors the performance of other care team members within the plan of care
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, CAUTI reduction, and documentation auditing
• Promotes a healing, patient-centered environment grounded in evidence-based nursing practice
