Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery Night Charge position in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience and charge nurse capability in an L&D setting.
Details
- 13-week travel contract in a hospital-based Family Birth Place unit
- Labor & Delivery setting encompassing L&D with OR, PACU, and postpartum couplet care
- Patient population includes babies 32 weeks gestation and above, with approximately 60 deliveries per month
- 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends
- On-call rotation typically consists of one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, subject to change
- Charge RN role on the night shift team
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or Compact RN license valid in Colorado, currently in good standing
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS and ACLS (both must be AHA-issued), NRP, and STABLE
- Minimum 4 years of L&D nursing experience required
- Charge RN experience in a Labor & Delivery setting required
- Date of birth (DOB) or Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
- Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- CAPS (Colorado Adult Protective Services) background check required prior to starting — may take up to two weeks to obtain
- Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
