Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Level I Trauma OR position requiring scrub and circulator skills with ortho and neuro experience, working 4x10 night shifts.

Details

  • Large Level I Trauma OR serving southwest Virginia, featuring 25 OR suites with 24/7 on-site nursing coverage
  • Surgical services include general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine
  • Patient population spans all age groups: neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and geriatrics
  • Specialized equipment includes ROSA, Si and Xi da Vinci robots, Stealth, O-Arm, and HIPEC
  • Night shift schedule: 4x10s, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday–Thursday
  • Holiday rotation required; must work one holiday per 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active Virginia state or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Scrub and circulator experience required; must be able to scrub total joints, craniotomies/neuro cases, and ortho trauma
  • Ortho and neuro OR experience required
  • Charge nurse experience highly preferred
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
