Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring critical care experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and Cerner EMR proficiency.
Details
- Acute care ICU setting with 36 private beds, actively utilizing 24
- Patient ratios are 1:2, with the possibility of going up to 1:3
- Common diagnoses include respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB conditions
- Charting is done in Cerner EMR
- 12-hour shifts available on days (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with self-scheduling
- Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
- 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule; day shift weekends are Saturday and Sunday, night shift weekends are Friday and Saturday
- Floating to stepdown is possible
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IN or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Critical care (ICU) experience is required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Cerner EMR experience required
- BSN is not required
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- Provide critical care nursing to a diverse ICU patient population including respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB cases
