Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry position at an acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience and proficiency in Epic.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 230 staffed beds
- Telemetry unit with a focus on MS/Tele patients
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope to like units is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending license not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
- Experience with ER holding, MS/Tele, and Telemetry settings
- Proficiency in cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a different pay rate
- RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion and must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required, along with a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
