Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and pediatric outpatient experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment treating infants through adolescents.
Details
- Outpatient SLP setting with a pediatric focus, serving infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients
- Approximately 9 patient visits per day
- Specializes in Autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders
- Documentation systems include Wellsky and Epic
- Schedule options: 4x10s (Mon, Tue, Thu 7:30am–6:00pm; Fri 7:30am–5:00pm) or 5x8s (3 days 9:30am–6:00pm and 2 days 7:30am–4:00pm)
- No weekend shifts required
- Daytime shifts only
Requirements
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of SLP experience required
- Pediatric outpatient setting experience required
- Experience with Autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders
- Knowledge of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and reassessments, including SLP evaluation coding for Medicaid and other payers
- Develop and maintain individualized plans of care and complete discharge documentation
- Provide patient and family education as a core component of treatment
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy and support from interpretation services and a unit secretary
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Black scrubs required
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
