Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at an acute care hospital, working 3x12-hour night shifts with remote telemetry monitoring experience preferred.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting on a 32-bed Med/Surg unit (4EA) with remote telemetry capability
- Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and general medical/surgical patients
- Telemetry is ordered as needed and monitored 24/7
- IV drip experience required, including Dopamine (5mcg constant rate, no titration, renal perfusion only) and Heparin
- Cerner EMR in use
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license in Indiana (IN) or a Compact state currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Med/Surg acute care experience required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates residing between 50 and 100 miles from the facility may be considered at a reduced pay rate
- No orientation hours are included with this assignment
