Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week day shift assignment at a 234-bed tertiary hospital in Florence, SC.

• 234-bed tertiary care hospital setting
• CT Scan unit
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating required
• 13-week contract
• Charting via Epic
• Siemens CT equipment experience required; Philips experience preferred
• Free parking on-site

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required
• AHA certifications only accepted
• SC license required if applicable; candidates with a pending license may be considered, but must be active prior to start
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience
• Radiation badge required — must be provided by the candidate's agency, as the facility does not supply them to travelers
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers may be considered depending on position fit
• Candidates who were previously employed at any MUSC location (including PRN) must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Black and teal scrubs required
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
