Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Decatur, GA, requiring a GA or Compact RN license in hand, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Floating to the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) required as needed
• Schedule requires working every other weekend

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted, and consecutive RTO days during the holiday period will not be approved
• RTO must be spread out and not clustered around holiday dates
