Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in West Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability on a 13-week contract with extension potential.
Details
- 34-bed Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
- Patient ratios of 1:5–7
- Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Weekday and weekend shifts required, with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
- Charting performed in Cerner EMR
- 13-week contract with possibility of extension
Requirements
- Active WV or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

- Scrubs are not provided by the facility
- Attendance reliability is critical — candidates should be aware that the facility has a strict policy regarding call-offs during the contract period
