Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a weekend-only assignment requiring a current Massachusetts Radiology and Mammography License and ARRT certification.

Details

• Provide coverage in a hospital-based mammography department and various offsite locations within a 10-mile radius
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms for patients
• Weekend-only schedule covering Saturday and Sunday between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM
• Shifts vary between 8, 10, or 12 hours totaling 36-40 hours per week depending on department needs
• Saturday shift options include 8:00 AM-12:00 PM or 7:45 AM-11:45 AM
• Schedule varies week to week based on departmental needs
• 1:1 tech-to-machine ratio
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Radiology and Mammography License required (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; facility accepts ONLY AHA)
• Documentation of 8 hours Digital training and 8 hours Tomosynthesis training required
• Documentation of 15 hours CEUs within the past 3 years required
• Documentation of mammography statistics formed within the past two years required
• Experience performing stereotactic biopsies preferred but not mandatory
• Must be flexible and able to work independently

• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
• Candidates must be willing to travel to and work at multiple offsite locations as needed
