Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel OR RN for an Ambulatory Surgical Unit position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and Epic proficiency, working 4x10-hour day shifts.
Details
- Work setting is an Ambulatory Surgical Center with 6 ORs
- Serves a mixed-age patient population across all age groups
- 1:1 patient ratio
- OR Circulator experience preferred; ambulatory surgical experience also preferred
- EMR: Epic (required)
- Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- No float requirements
Requirements
- Active VA state RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA-issued certifications required: BLS and ACLS (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- US SSN required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Scrubs will be provided by the facility; all attire must comply with Valley Health dress code policy
- Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Located in Winchester, VA, approximately 2 hours from Washington, D.C., near Shenandoah National Park, Seven Bends State Park, and the Shenandoah Valley wine and culinary scene
