Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a DC RN license, prior travel experience, and 2 years of inpatient endo or related experience on a 4x10 day shift schedule.
Details
- Hospital-based Endoscopy/GI Suite setting
- 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- Floating within the GI Suite per competency
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required; pending DC licensure accepted provided the candidate has applied and will have the license in hand prior to start date
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient endoscopy, PACU, or pre-op required
- Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, Ambulatory/Outpatient, and prior charge experience preferred
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination is required for all travelers at this facility
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Any time off or scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
