Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Burlington, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department featuring 44 beds across 45,000+ sq ft, with dedicated fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment rooms
• Cares for patients presenting with acute injuries and medical emergencies, including trauma cases
• Utilizes Epic for all patient assessment, care documentation, and medication administration
• Schedule is 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend is required
• Two holiday shifts are required
• Floating is not required
• Charge nurse duties are not required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provides immediate nursing care to patients presenting with traumatic injuries and medical emergencies

• COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions are accepted)
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season
• Candidates must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months prior to the start of the assignment (applies to all previous employment types: travel, permanent, and per diem)
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
