Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment in a multimodality cardiac cath lab environment.

Details

• Work in a multimodality lab encompassing Cath Lab, IR, and Vascular procedures
• Uses Medhost EHR, MACLAB, and Philips Cath Lab systems
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cumulative relevant experience
• BLS required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• One of the following credentials required: RCIS from CCI, Cardiographic Tech specializing in EP from CCI, or ARRT (Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography)
• ACLS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• PALS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• Education: High School diploma/equivalent with 2 years experience, Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience
• License required if applicable
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, vital signs and cardiac rhythm monitoring, anticipating case changes and physician needs, maintaining sterile fields, and providing patient education on post-procedure care
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required
