Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications with float coverage to the Clinical Decision Unit.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- ER I specialty patient population
- 3x12-hour AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
- Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
- Former employees of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if it does
- Only one holiday time-off request is permitted during the assignment
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
