Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Belleville, IL, requiring high-risk telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care Magnet hospital with 40 beds on the Telemetry unit and 222 facility-wide beds
• Night shift position working 12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15), with 3x12 or 4x12 schedules approved
• Patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Floating required to all inpatient units across both campuses within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required, with an expectation of 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per 6-week schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is not available
• Free parking on-site

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required (pending IL license is acceptable at time of consideration — please note this on your profile)
• Active MO RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• High-risk telemetry experience required
• Proficiency with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line management required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Candidates residing within a 75-mile radius of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers may remain at a BJC facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
