Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Sonographer with 3+ years of experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week radiology ultrasound assignment in the Boston area.
Details
- Radiology Ultrasound department in an acute care hospital setting
- Abdomen and OB/GYN ultrasound case mix
- Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Rotational weekend call required
- 13-week contract
- Epic used for charting
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Sonographer experience
- ARDMS certification required
- BLS required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
- Active MA license required at time of consideration; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
- Experience with abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

- Perform abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound examinations
- Timekeeping is completed via UKG/Kronos
- No validated parking is available at Boston-area locations; public parking lots are available at daily rates, and public transportation is encouraged
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
