Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with Phase 1, pre-op, and Phase 2 experience for a 13-week travel contract in Illinois requiring an active IL RN license.

Details

PACU setting within a surgical/OR department
Experience with Phase 1 PACU, pre-op, and Phase 2 PACU required
Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating start times (0800–1830, 0900–1930, 1000–2030, or 1030–2100)
On-call coverage may be required for Friday nights (2100–0700) or Sunday nights (2300–0700), approximately once per 6-week schedule cycle
Weekend call coverage spans Saturday 0700 through Sunday 2300
In the event of a night shift call-out, additional on-call coverage (2030–0700) may be required Monday through Thursday
No routine on-call assignments for travel staff, but occasional coverage may be needed

Requirements

Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Phase 1 PACU experience required, as well as pre-op and Phase 2 PACU experience

Additional Information

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification cards must be provided for consideration
Holiday on-call coverage may be required
