Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and Cerner proficiency in a 13-week assignment.

Details

• 13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour day shifts
• Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage), and triage cases
• Unit activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Common equipment includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and FetalInk documentation systems
• Cerner experience is required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS (AHA-issued only), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a US hospital setting
• Cerner EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• Two supervisor or manager references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• All certifications submitted must be AHA-issued
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
