Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department / Clinical Decision Unit position requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of experience.

Details

• Position is based in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) within an Emergency Department setting
• 13-week travel contract
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a separation of at least 18 months is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if not overlapping with a holiday, or a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and consecutive holiday RTO days are generally not approved
