Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Med/Surg with GA or Compact license and at least 18 months of recent experience for a long-term night shift assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit position
• Night shift (NOC) schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• 15-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Previous permanent staff experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg unit setting
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; 18 months required if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
• Multiple RTO days requested close together during holiday periods will not be approved and must be spread out
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
