Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience and strong critical care/ventilator skills for a 13-week day shift travel assignment in Colorado.

Details

• 12-hour day shifts
• Rotating weekend coverage required
• No call rotation
• Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department
• Patient population spans all ages and all acuity levels
• Strong critical care and ventilator management involved in daily practice
• Neonatal and pediatric cases are part of the caseload

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• RRT credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing required; license required if applicable
• Graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensure
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications — all required
• Neonatal and pediatric experience required
• Excellent critical care and ventilator skills required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all ages and acuity levels
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
• Colorado CAPS background check is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly
