Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist at a Level I Trauma hospital in Columbus, OH, requiring ARRT certification in CT and Radiography with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Level I Trauma hospital CT department in Columbus, OH
- High-volume department averaging 270–290 scans per day
- GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment in use
- Epic EMR
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- One weekend of call per assignment, plus holiday call as assigned
Requirements
- ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (CT and XR) required
- OH state license required; pending license accepted
- Current BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required; less experience may be considered for candidates with Level I or Level II Trauma background
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Large hospital or Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Canon CT equipment preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs and completes diagnostic CT and radiographic procedures in accordance with ARRT and facility guidelines
- Prepares patients for examinations, positions patients correctly for each procedure, and ensures radiation safety for both patient and operator
- Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
- Charcoal grey scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
