Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care facility in California, requiring current acute hospital case management experience, InterQual knowledge, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Case Management unit
• Patient caseload ratio of 1:20
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
• At least 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Floating between all facilities within California is expected and required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of case management experience required
• Experience must be current — candidates who have not worked in an acute hospital case management role within the last 6 months will not be considered
• Knowledge of InterQual criteria required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
• Former permanent employees of this Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Business casual attire with a lab coat, or dark solid scrubs with a lab coat, is required
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in termination of the assignment
