Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, with night shift scheduling and floating requirements.
Details
- Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratios are 1:1 in the CVICU and 1:2–3 in the ICU
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Floating to the ICU is required
- Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) required
Requirements
- Active RN license — TN state or Compact license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Prior CVICU or cardiovascular critical care nursing experience required
Additional Information
- RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
- Travelers may discuss holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and are eligible at a reduced rate
