Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital CT department, working 3x12-hour evening/overnight shifts on weekends.

Details

• Hospital-based CT department setting
• 3x12-hour evening/overnight shifts, Friday through Sunday, 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM
• May be required to float to other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
• On-call responsibilities may apply

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related Allied Health field required
• ARRT RT(R) registration required
• CT registry preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure required if applicable
• Experience with CT procedures including contrast media administration and venipuncture
• Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment in a fast-paced imaging environment

Additional Information

• Independently performs CT procedures utilizing proper techniques and contrast media administration in accordance with scope of practice
• Coordinates patient flow and scanner activities within the CT department
• Responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotating every-other-holiday basis
