Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology procedures for a 13-week assignment in Davie, FL.

Details

• Located on the 2nd floor within the OR boundary of a hospital in Davie, FL
• Cardiac Cath Lab with 1 procedure room
• Team consists of 4 nurses and 1 Rad Tech, all on day shift
• Procedures include diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (all areas except neuro)
• Equipment includes GE imaging systems
• EMR: Meditech
• Rotating call required for IR only; the cath lab itself is diagnostic only
• Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology
• Allied candidates must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role they are applying for
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)

Additional Information

• Brand new facility, open less than one year, with growing cath volumes targeting Level II designation
• OR scrubs are provided, as the lab is within the OR boundary
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but candidates must demonstrate recent, active experience in the specialty
