Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience on a night shift schedule.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting within a hospital
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekend rotation required
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings
- Execute clinical procedures including IV placement, Foley catheter insertion, and wound dressings
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition using telemetry, IV, and ventilator equipment
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with regulatory standards
- Provide effective patient and family education throughout the care process
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
