Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Emergency Department position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1900–0730
- Weekend rotation required
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform clinical procedures including IV placement, Foley catheter insertion, and wound dressings
- Monitor and accurately document patient assessments, telemetry, ventilator management, and medication administration
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and act as a patient advocate
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
