Description

American Traveler is seeking a dual-modality CT/X-Ray Technologist with at least 2 years of combined experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III regional hospital in Colorado.

Details

• Level III regional hospital setting in Yampa Valley, CO
• Dual-modality position requiring proficiency in both CT scanning and routine radiography (X-Ray)
• May be called upon to assist in the OR using a GE C-Arm
• Uses Siemens Drive 256-slice dual source/dual energy CT Scanner and GE C-Arm equipment
• Charting via Epic EMR
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with days varying throughout the week
• Weekend work required based on unit needs
• On-call required approximately every fifth or sixth weekend, dependent on staffing
• No floating required
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility may be subject to a different pay rate structure

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of dual-modality experience, with at least 1 year each in CT and X-Ray
• ARRT certification with RT(R) and CT credentials required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Proficiency with C-arm required
• X-Ray skills must include head, chest, and extremities
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment required
• Ability to work independently in a multi-modality environment
• Pediatric imaging experience preferred but not required
• Experience with Siemens Drive 256-slice scanner and CCTA preferred
• License required if applicable
• CT and X-Ray skills checklists required for consideration
