Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and experience in ER CT trauma, CTA, and stroke imaging for a weekend night shift position in Dallas, TX.
Details
- CT Scan department (Unit 726) within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include ER CT trauma, CTA, and stroke imaging
- GE 64 Slice CT scanner used
- Meditech EMR system
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- On-call requirements apply
- Floating to other units as needed per facility policy
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
- Must have active hands-on experience within the last 6 months in the CT specialty
- Experience with ER CT trauma, CTA, and stroke protocols required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Grey scrubs required; scrub color is facility-specified for CT Techs
- Dress code includes neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors; beards and facial hair must be neatly trimmed
- Visible body art should be covered whenever possible; cases where coverage is not feasible will be addressed individually
- Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
