Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment requiring 6+ months of recent CT experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification.
Details
- CT Scan department within the main hospital
- Schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Typical daily staffing includes 4 techs plus a supervisor, with 3 day staff and 1 night staff on weekends
- Night shift covered by a single cross-trained tech who moves between X-ray and CT
- Equipment includes two in-house scanners (128 and 16 slice) and one mobile 64-slice unit
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Typical procedures include CTA, ABD PELV, CAP, and PELV, CAP scans
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of current CT Tech experience required
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Night shift and Trauma I or II level experience preferred
- GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS experience preferred
Additional Information
- Highly motivated, self-starter mindset with strong critical thinking skills preferred
- Ability to work well as part of a team is valued
- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
