Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 6 months of current CT experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Thornton, CO.

Details

• CT Scan department located in the main hospital building
• Equipment includes two in-house scanners (128-slice and 16-slice) and one mobile unit (64-slice)
• Typical procedures include CTA, abdomen/pelvis, and chest/abdomen/pelvis (CAP) studies
• EMR is Meditech; Centricity PACS is also used
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday
• Typical night shift staffing consists of 1 dedicated CT tech, with a cross-trained tech in X-ray who floats between X-ray and CT

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current, hands-on CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Night shift experience preferred; trauma I or trauma II level experience preferred
• Experience with GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS preferred
• Candidates must not have gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• License required if applicable

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
