Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) department within a hospital setting
- Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- On-call is required for this position
- Experience with inpatient, outpatient, pre/post procedure, and portable/bedside cases required
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued only)
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
