Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract at a hospital-based CT unit, requiring ARRT RT(R) registry and an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.

Details

• Hospital-based CT scan unit
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• May be required to perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
• On-call responsibilities may apply

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or Allied Health required
• ARRT RT(R) registry required
• CT registry preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• ODH licensure required; state license required if applicable
• Proficiency in CT procedures including administration of contrast media and venipuncture
• Experience coordinating patient flow and CT scanner operations

Additional Information

• Independently performs CT procedures utilizing proper techniques and contrast media administration in accordance with scope of practice
• Responsible for coordinating patient flow and maintaining equipment in good working condition
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Local Radiology candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered for this position
