Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for weekend night shifts in a clinic setting, requiring ARRT/CT certification and current BLS.

Details

• CT scan department in a clinic setting
• Patient population spans all age groups: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
• Performs CT scans with and without contrast
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Requirements

• ARRT/CT certification required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• Current Fit Test required
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include acquisition of CT scans for diagnostic purposes, maintaining high standards of patient care during procedures, and assisting with patient discharge
• Maintains neat and orderly stock of supplies
• Candidates may submit with a pending license
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted, though at a different rate
• Former permanent employees of this facility are not eligible for this travel position
• Candidates may request no more than 7 days of RTO for the duration of the assignment
• Hospital housing is available and consists of shared units with private bedrooms and shared common spaces; male and female units are separate; no dogs allowed; travelers coordinate directly with the facility
• The facility is located in a remote area; housing on-site is the recommended option
• Economy-class flight reimbursement is available; travelers must submit a detailed flight receipt including luggage costs
• Flight itinerary must be provided one week prior to start; the facility will arrange airport pickup for arriving travelers
