Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience across outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU settings for a night shift contract position.
Details
- Night shift schedule, 4x9-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- CT Scan unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients; NICU and PICU experience is a plus
- Experience across outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU settings required; NICU and PICU exposure preferred
- PACS system experience required; contrast administration required
- Biopsies and IV starts preferred
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
- Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required; neonatal and infant experience preferred
- PACS experience required
- Contrast administration experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- An EKG exam is required during compliance and must be passed — two attempts are allowed
- Candidates should prepare for the EKG exam in advance, as study materials will not be provided by the facility
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
