Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract supporting ER volume on weekend night shifts, with ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required and at least 2 years of experience.
Details
- CT department located within the main campus of a 148-bed acute care hospital in Hendersonville, TN
- Shift supports ER volume with basic CT exams — no interventional experience necessary
- Equipment includes GE Revolution 256-slice and GE VCT 64-slice CT scanners
- Documentation systems used are Meditech and Synapse PACS
- Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12.5-hour night shifts)
- No floating required for this position
- 2–3 staff members will be on shift, working alongside tenured hospital staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required — must be fully accredited in CT
- License required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted
Additional Information
- Perform CT exams in support of emergency room volume — no advanced interventional procedures
- Orientation will include review of scanning protocols and IV contrast policy
- The GE Revolution 256-slice CT scanner is one of the most advanced scanners currently on the market
- Navy scrubs required
