Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract in an acute care imaging department, requiring ARRT and CT certification with trauma and stroke experience.

Details

• CT/Radiology imaging department within an acute care hospital setting
• High-acuity patient population with frequent trauma and stroke cases
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend coverage required
• No call required
• GE imaging equipment used
• Night shift team consists of 3 staff in CT/RAD

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT and CT certification required
• BLS required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure required; license required if applicable
• Experience in trauma and stroke imaging required
• Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced imaging environment
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Perform a high volume and wide variety of CT imaging procedures with an emphasis on stroke and trauma protocols
• Large imaging services team with 100+ imaging techs and IR nurses on staff
• Candidates must have no gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Scrub dress code: olive top and black pants
• First-time travelers will be considered if all other requirements are met
