Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week assignment performing general sonography cases including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular, and DVT studies.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound department at an academic medical center
• General cases include abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, abdominal vasculature, lower extremity DVT, and follicular studies
• NICU and OR sonography cases also performed in this unit
• Primary equipment includes GE Logiq E9, E10, and GE Voluson systems
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Sunday through Thursday schedule, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Requirements

• ARDMS or equivalent sonography certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted for this location)
• Active MA license required if applicable — no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Experience with general ultrasound modalities including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular, and DVT studies
• 2 references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• NICU and OR ultrasound experience is a plus
• Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public parking lots are available nearby at the traveler's expense, and public transportation is encouraged
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
