Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Glenwood Springs, CO, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab/EP experience and an active CO or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a small community hospital setting featuring 1 Cath Lab and 1 Hybrid Cath Lab with dedicated pre- and post-procedure areas
• The facility is the only 24/7 Cath Lab on the Western Slope of Colorado
• Patient care responsibilities span pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases for cardiac patients
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and rotating evening/weekend call
• On-call responsibilities required; 30-minute callback radius applies

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a Cath Lab and/or EP setting required
• Experience circulating and providing pre- and post-procedure patient care required
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• DOB or SSN required for consideration
• Proof of Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)

• Plans and coordinates delivery of quality nursing care in accordance with ANA Standards of Nursing Practice
• Vascular and/or CVOR experience is a plus
• The Hybrid Cath Lab is rapidly growing and features some of the most advanced technologies, comparable to university-level facilities
• 13-week assignment located in Glenwood Springs, CO — an opportunity to spend the summer in the Colorado Rockies
