Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Denver, CO, requiring 1 year of ED experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week, 3 days/week)
- Emergency Department setting at a hospital in Denver, CO
- Charting performed in Epic (EMR)
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Required certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, and TNCC, NRP, or PALS as applicable to unit — all must not expire prior to start date
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for emergency department patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
- Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Two professional references required for consideration
