Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AHA-certified ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate credentials with night shift availability.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Schedule options: 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
  • On-call requirement: 36 hours every 6 weeks
  • Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month required
  • Floating required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active RN license — Tennessee (TN) or Compact license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN-INT), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

  • Local candidates are welcome to apply
  • RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including: Valentine's Day, Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day — travelers may discuss holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite
