Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN Intermediate certification with on-call responsibilities and night shift availability.
Details
- Work in a Mother/Baby and Postpartum unit with float coverage to Labor & Delivery
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month required
- On-call requirement: 36 hours every 6 weeks
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3–4 in Mother/Baby
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact state currently in hand
- Current certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), AWHONN Intermediate, NIHSS, and NRP
- Prior Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby or Postpartum nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Bi-weekly orientation schedule
- RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day; travelers may discuss any holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite
