Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an outpatient-focused 13-week travel contract requiring experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon equipment and Epic EMR.
Details
- Outpatient CT setting within a hospital environment
- Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM, working every Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Saturday and Sunday
- Experience with both GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment is required for this position
- Epic EMR used; experience required with no exceptions
- May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Outpatient CT experience required
- IV skills required
- Graduate of an imaging technology program approved by a recognized licensing body
- Active Oregon (OR) state license required — no pending licenses accepted; license required if applicable
- OBMI licensure in radiography and CT (or ARRT registration in radiography and CT)
- Current BLS certification from the AHA
- Hands-on experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanners required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Additional Information
- Performs diagnostic CT procedures following ARRT guidelines for Computerized Tomography
- Participates in various tasks related to imaging technology, ensuring diagnostic quality and patient safety
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates — no radius restriction
- COVID vaccination required; no exemptions
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial application and cannot be modified after submission — additional RTO requests may result in cancellation
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
