Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift contract position in an acute care hospital imaging department in Austin, TX, requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of recent CT experience.

Details

• Work is performed in a hospital imaging department on the 1st floor of the main building
• 465-bed facility with a team of 16 imaging staff
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures include bone marrow biopsy, cryoablations, microwave ablations, CTA coronary/pulmonary, liver biopsy, and general orthopedic, body, and neuro scans
• Equipment includes GE and Siemens CT scanners
• EMR: Meditech with Fuji PACS
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• No call required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, with active employment within the last 6 months
• ARRT (R)(CT) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Hospital experience preferred
• Procedural experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

• Performs CT imaging procedures including interventional, vascular, and general diagnostic scans

• Scrub color requirement: olive green top with black scrub pants
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
